Saturn Return in Pisces

De mensen die geboren zijn tussen 29 jan 1994 en 7 april 1996, gaan binnenkort hun eerste Saturnusterugkeer tegemoet, zodra Saturnus in Vissen komt begin maart 2023. 

Mensen die geboren zijn tussen 17 dec 1964 en 3 maart 1967, beginnen aan hun tweede Saturnusterugkeer.

Wat is een Saturnusterugkeer? Saturnus is een hele trage planeet. Hij doet er een 30-tal jaar over om een volledige cirkel rond de ecliptica te maken. Tijdens een terugkeer, die ongeveer 2 jaar duurt, komt deze planeet terug 'thuis' in het teken waarin hij stond toen je werd geboren. 

Wat betekent dit? Als Saturnus terug naar huis komt, wil die weten wat je hebt gedaan in de tijd dat hij verdwenen was. Astrologisch gezien is dit een periode van (extra) volwassen worden. Het is een periode waarin we meer verantwoordelijkheid moeten nemen voor ons leven, grote veranderingen op je pad komen die ons helpen rijpen.

Sommige mensen zijn bang voor Saturnus, omdat het een planeet is die het heeft van trage verandering, omdat het beweging is die zich bij de wortels afspeelt. Saturnus heeft daardoor soms een nogal ontwortelend effect. Maar het is misschien een troost dat de Saturnusterugkeer niet per se het begin van iets nieuws is. Hij heeft er een reis door alle tekens opzitten, dus we ervaren eerder een einde van een periode, een thuiskomst. Voor de eerste Saturnusterugkeer, gaat deze periode over je hele leven tot nu toe. Saturnus toont waar je al die tijd naartoe hebt gewerkt. Het zal je misschien verbazen, dat dit 'doel', niet per se materieel blijkt te zijn. Saturnus is wijzer dan dat. En natuurlijk is ieder einde een begin van een nieuw leven.

What is a Saturn Return? Saturn is a very slow planet and takes about 30 years to make a full circle around the ecliptic. But during a return, this planet comes back 'home' in the sign it was in when you were born.

What does this mean? When Saturn comes back to you, it wants to know what you did while it was gone. Astrologically speaking, this is a period of growing up (some more). It is a period when we need to take more responsibility for our lives, and experience some profound change.

Some people are afraid of Saturn, because it is a planet who makes slow, thorough change, going to the the roots of it all. Saturn therefore sometimes has a rather uprooting effect in your life. But it might be a comfort that the Saturnus Return is not necessarily the start of something new. The planet has just finished a journey through all the signs, so it's more the sense of an ending, of something coming full circle, that we will experience. That can be very rewarding in itself. Saturn marks the end of a period - in case of the first Saturnus Return, this period covered your entire life to date. Saturn shows the things you have worked toward all this time -and maybe you will be surprised that it isn't necessarily a material goal that comes to fruition. Saturn is much wiser than that. And of course every ending is a start of a new life.
