Astrology and hairstyles
The Ascendant ruler and the Moon can tell something about one's looks! Even though the ancients had very detailed descriptions of people's bodies delineated from their charts, these discriptions have often racist and fatphobic undertones. These traditional descriptions are simply not inclusive and outdated. I don't believe the chart can give an accurate bodily description, but it can give a general vibe or a very outstanding feature of a person. That feature is often their style of hair. Here are some fun examples.
Note: what follows is a fun, quick and superficial take on the planets and their link to how one looks, I think it is important to say that the planets in the chart have lots of layers of meaning depending on context and traditional source texts. One planet does not have one certain look!
Neptune in the chart of Cyndi Lauper
Cyndi lauper has her Ascendant ruler - an exalted Saturn in Libra - conjunct Neptune. Her hairstyles change regularly, and they are always colorful, dreamy, a little chaotic, and even a bit confusing - Neptune's signature. Her eccentric style is not something she only cultivated while she was young: Lauper's hair has been Neptunial for all her life.
Mars in the Chart of Axelle Red and Tori Amos
Axelle Red is a Belgian singer, mostly famous from her hit 'Sensualité'. Her stage name is Axelle Red because her hair is red. Her Ascendant ruler is Mars, a placement she has in common with the singer Tori Amos, who's trademark is the same fiery red tint of hair color. Does this mean that every Mars person has red hair? Of course not. The Martian quality, and even the redness, can show itself in many ways, like in a fondness for reddish colors or in the name of a person. The Mars-influence is just very obvious in these performers. Even their stage names have a martian quality: Red, is obviously Mars-like because Mars rules the color red; Tori is a derivative from Victoria, meaning 'victory' - you can't have more Mars in a name. Because Mars is the Ascendant ruler, it is the most personal point in the chart of these two artists, so this haircolor is a part of their identity.

The Sun in the chart of Edgar Winter
The Winter brothers Edgar and Johnny are musicians with the most beautiful long white hair. From Edgar Winter's website, we read that both brothers were born with albinism. They each had bright white hair, and when rock & roll inspired long hair, in addition to hip shades, their shared condition only intensified their distinct cool.
Even though we would immediatly associate the Moon with paleness, in Winter's chart it is the Sun that symbolizes his appearance. Even though most authors associate the Sun with gold and yellow tones, according to the astrologer Al-Qabisi (who died in 967, so this is a very old source!), the Sun shows things 'transparant in color'. This is a good description for albinism, for it is the transparancy of the skin due to a lack of pigment that makes it white in color (or non-color, more accurately). And here comes in Edgar's Sun's conjunction with Mars: due to the transparancy of the skin, it's easier to see the blood vessels underlying it. This sometimes gives a slightly red tone, in the eyes and in the skin. Mars rules the color red.
Historical detail: traditionally, an afflicted Sun can bring eye sight problems, and this is a common occurence for people with albinism.
A beautiful detail in the chart is Saturn on the Ascendant. Saturn is the planet related to winter and coldness which is the (official) family name of the Winter brothers.
Saturn is also the planet of standing apart, being singular. I often see Saturn on the Ascendant associated with ostracization due to how one looks, and according to Edgar's bio, he and his brother were bullied as a child because they looked different.
